So I was looking at some price targets for the stock and saw that Barclays has a $325 PT and this is the analyst who set it.

I'm not trying claim this says anything about the stock itself, I'm just curious how an investment bank with a reputation like Barclays employs someone this incompetent to analyze a stock that sees so much volatility, volume and public scrutiny.
I don't know, I can't see his past performance, maybe he just had an unlucky year, but it makes me wonder if some of these rating agencies employ analysts who are past caring about their own reputations and just publish analysis based on whatever agenda is given to them.
And of course the name Johnson, and the Tipranks rank (they could almost be brothers) reminded me of the TSLA community's favorite class clown.

I don't think anyone who's seen his interviews on CNBC could claim he's making his claims in good faith.
So I'm curious about what his motivations are, did he just decide to be a TSLA contrarian out of vanity, to carve out a niche and keep getting airtime on CNBC?
He's definitely not doing it for the benefit of any clients he may or may not have, and he doesn't have any of his own money on the line.
Or is he just getting paid to spread FUD?
I doubt he has an obsession like Mark Spiegel, who's made Elon and Tesla his own personal Mobi Dick.
There have been claims his father worked at GM or something, and that somehow informed his motivation, not sure how credible that is.
So, like I said, this is an aside from the actual valuation of the stock, I'm just sometimes curious about people's motivations.
