בתכנית espp של העבודה נותנים לנו אופציה לבחור את דרך המיסוי: Share Withholding או Payroll Withholding
Share Withholding:
On the purchase date, your withholding tax liability will be determined using an estimated standard tax rate and a corresponding number of shares will be withheld to pay the tax liability. These shares will be repurchased at their FMV on the same day you buy them (i.e., the last day of the Offering Period). When final payroll system processing is completed and your actual tax withholding liability is calculated, an adjustment may be made and additional taxes may be withheld via payroll or shares returned to your UBS account, as appropriate.
Payroll Withholding:
Taxes are withheld from your paycheck, generally in the month following your share purchase. Depending upon the amount of your taxable ESPP compensation, local tax rates and other standard withholdings, a significant portion of your pay could be withheld. If you do not have enough income in a single pay period to cover the tax liability, additional pay periods may be affected.
מה לדעתכם עדיף? האופציה הראשונה קצת מוזרה לי כי אם לפני מס אני אמור לקבל 3 מניות ואחרי מס 2.5 לא ברור לי איך העסקה תתממש.
